Verification of seismic performance of concrete block walls

To verify the seismic performance of concrete block walls during earthquakes, experiments were conducted at the large-scale shake table facility E-Defense in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture. The experiments involved applying the seismic wave recorded at the Kobe JMA Observatory to both seismically reinforced block walls and block walls constructed improperly.
