Specializes in structural engineering, reinforced concrete structures, and earthquake engineering. He has conducted seismic design and performance evaluation of reinforced concrete structures, seismic performance assessment of reinforced concrete members, structural monitoring of buildings, and earthquake damage surveys both domestically and internationally.
